Mehta
A block, a belt, edge orientation, then the corners and the last edges.
Yiheng Mehta's method builds the bottom layer and the middle belt in an unusual order, so the end of the solve is the corners left (orientation, then permutation) and the edges left, each in a small algorithm set. The 6CP variant described here is the common variant.
First block
A 1x2x3 block on the bottom left: the bottom-left corners and the edges between them, as Roux's first block but lying on the bottom. Plan it in inspection.
3QB
Place all but the last of the middle layer's edges around the block, intuitively, leaving a belt slot free.
EOLE
Edge orientation and the last edge: insert the last belt edge while orienting every edge, so the rest of the solve keeps them oriented.
6CO
Orient the corners left (the bottom right pair and the top layer's) so each shows its top or bottom colour up or down.
6CP
Permute those corners, which solves the bottom layer's corners and the top's at once.
L5EP
Permute the last edges, the top layer's and the bottom right, with M-slice and U turns.
