How to read a case diagram
Most last-layer diagrams are a top view: the 3x3 grid is the top face, and the thin bars around it are the top row of each side face, as if folded up. The bar at the bottom of the picture is the front.
T-perm. Arrows show where each piece goes: a double-headed arrow is a swap.
OLL 45. Grey means 'any colour but the top colour': for OLL only orientation matters.
An F2L case in 3D: grey pieces are not part of the case.
- •Grey stickers are masked: their colour does not matter for this step.
- •Headlights: a side whose two corner stickers match. Bars: three matching stickers in a row on a side.
- •In print, the 'B&W patterns' option adds hatching per colour so a mono printer keeps colours apart.
